Who We Are

• Gen~Sys Energy (GSE) is a Minnesota cooperative corporation organized in 1997 to provide energy marketing services to its members. These services include power marketing, energy scheduling and unit dispatch, natural gas services, contract management and hedging market exposure.
  
• The current members are Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC) of La Crosse, Wisconsin (www.dairynet.com) , Corn Belt Power Cooperative (CBPC) of Humboldt, Iowa. (www.cbpower.com) and Distribu-Gen Cooperative of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
  
• GSE also supplies wholesale marketing services to municipal utilities. Current and past customers include:
  • McGregor, IA
  • St. Charles, MN
  • Rushford, MN
  • Pardeville, WI
• In 2002, GSE expanded its services into the area of stand by generation, energy management and power quality (Technical Services Division). Technical Services focus is on energy use and power quality at the wholesale and end user level.
  
• GEN~SYS energy is a member of the Mid-Continent Area Power Pool (MAPP), the Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO), and Mid-Continent Energy Marketers Association (MEMA).
